Citizens who want to hear a wide range of views so we can better understand each other — disagreement is fine, and constructive dialogue is encouraged, but ignorance is not.
Podcasts are an incredible way to hear long-form perspectives directly from the source. But with so many podcasts these days, and episode durations between 20 minutes and 3 hours, it is practically impossible for anyone to hear them all firsthand.
We don't assume that because a podcast host might have a certain political stance that any particular episode will also share that stance, so we assess each episode individually.
For example, even though Ezra Klein is a self-described “progressive,” the AI assessed a recent episode of The Ezra Klein Show as “Right-leaning” — because the focus of the discussion was to hear his guest's right-leaning views.
